Lamentations 3:22-23
Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
Just to give all of you the big picture of what we have ahead of us following Gage’s June 2007 leukemia diagnosis at age 4:
First 4 weeks: Very intense from daily chemo, difficult side effects, low immune system and weekly visits to the hospital that can include chemo, blood transfusions, spinal taps and bone marrow tests.
At the end of 4 weeks, we should know more about Gage’s prognosis and the treatment ahead.
First 6 months: Still very intense with lots of drugs, difficult side effects, frequent hospital visits, low immune system, etc.
September 7, 2007: Our fourth child, daughter Wesley Caroline, is born
Three years: total time of Gage’s treatment…praying for total and complete healing at the end of this time (Fall 2010)
